Oliver Tärnström agrees with Brynäs

Brynäs continues to strengthen the squad for the coming season.

According to Sportbladet’s information, Rögle forward Oliver Tärnström, 20, is in agreement with Gävleklubben.

Brynäs players will next season play in the Allsvenskan for the first time after the stinging relegation last spring. Sports director Johan Alcén has started construction with a new squad.

Heavy names such as Anton Rödin, Greg Scott, Johan Larsson, Anders Lindbäck and Johannes Kinnvall have chosen to extend.

In addition, Brynäs has landed HV71’s former qualifying heroes Tyler Vesel and Tyler Kelleher.

But there are still a number of places left to fill in the team building – and Brynäs is now about to fill one more piece of the puzzle.

It is about Rögle’s Oliver Tärnström, son of former NHL defenseman Dick, who will soon join the Gävle team. Sources within Brynäs say that only small details remain between the clubs before everything is ready.

Later in the morning, the clubs also went out and confirmed the transfer.

Oliver Tärnström has one year left on his contract with Rögle, but received sparing ice time last season and was loaned to Tingsryd for a period.

Three years ago, Tärnström, who was raised in hockey in AIK, was drafted in the third round by the New York Rangers.
