The hedge drove over Linköping – up to the series lead

0

Linköping needed to win to catch Piteå, Kristianstad, Hammarby – and Friday’s opponent, Häcken – at the top of the table.

That was not the case.

Instead, it was Häcken who, after a goalless first half, drove over Linköping. 40 seconds into the second half, the home team took the lead through Marika Bergman Lundin – after a goal by goalkeeper Cajsa Andersson.

– It’s a real miss, said Viaplay’s commentator Erik Bäckrud.

A quarter of an hour later it was suddenly 3-0.

Leads the women’s league

Julie Blakstad extended the lead in the 54th minute and Clarissa Larisey added the third in the 61st minute.

The match ended 3–0, which means that Häcken leads the women’s league with his 22 points. However, runner-up Piteå has played one game less.

It takes place on Sunday, when Piteå faces Kalmar away from home.
